Walmart was founded in 1962,  it was a american discount store, it was a single store in Rodgers which expanded outside of Arkansas. in the 1980s the chain was operating in every  state of  united states. in 1981 Walmart expanded into the southeastern us market which opened stores in Georgia. Walmart was founded by SAM Walton which included lost cost and high sales volume. it is the largest retailer with 503 billion in 2018, now has 11,200 locations that include 68.18% domestically and 31.82% abroad
